Innovation hub

The energy industry has long struggled to turn data into actionable insights, hindered by outdated systems and fragmented processes. But at our core, we're driven by innovation, agility, and problem-solving. We saw an opportunity to reimagine how data can empower our customers.

Our response? A suite of cutting-edge solutions that are transforming the digital landscape in energy. We've also established our Innovation hub—a dynamic space where technology, creativity, and connectivity converge. Here, every idea is valued, and the impossible becomes possible.

The Nord Centre

The Nord Centre is home to our fabrication and modular activities. Located next to Aberdeen harbour, with direct quayside access for loadout operations, the facility is a single-point site for all piping and structural fabrication, accommodation and modular work.

Fabrication is carried out in units D & M, and units A & B are shared between the fabrication and modular teams.

MacGregor Building, Howe Moss Place

Our MacGregor Building houses our Engineering, Fabrication and mobilisation teams. The building has extensive modern office facilities as well as fabrication and yard space.

The MacGregor facility which spans over 1500m2 and has extensive capacity for a variety of fabrication projects as well as storage for our customers. From both MacGregor and Nord, our workshops are now segregated to dedicated exotic piping fabrication, carbon piping fabrication and structural fabrication.

Our MacGregor facility is also ideally placed to support mobilisation activities. Resourcing is managed from this facility, which has been purpose-built for mobilisation of our personnel. Everything within the recruitment and mobilisation of our teams happens through this facility, from inductions through to face fit testing. Being located within Dyce means we minimise the travel and disruption to our teams, and they have direct access to our teams who support them.

OSL House - Hull

Our offices in Hull are strategically located in the heart of the Humber region—one of the UK’s most important industrial and energy hubs. As part of Nexos’ onshore growth strategy, this team delivers front-end consultancy and engineering services across hydrogen, carbon capture, waste-to-energy, and wider decarbonisation projects. Being based in Hull keeps us close to emerging opportunities and allows us to support clients with speed, continuity, and regional insight. The Hull team plays a key role in helping nexos deliver integrated, future-ready EPC solutions that support industrial transformation and accelerate the UK’s transition to lower-carbon energy systems.
