Official Trailers Released & Accessible Via A Pioneering App-style Platform
Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) service provider, Global E&C has showcased an eight-part documentary, shining a spotlight on the diverse and talented individuals driving innovation within its business.
This project, aimed at inspiring and encouraging more individuals to pursue careers in the energy industry, saw its premier screening take place last Friday at the company’s headquarters in Aberdeen’s West End and welcomed local MSPs, industry experts and education advocates.
With a spotlight on a specific facet of Global E&C's business—the modular design and build services – viewers were shown various aspects of careers that support the UK’s energy producing industry.
With the participation of eight individuals from Global E&C’s modular division, each documentary features an individual case study through exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
Global E&C collaborated with media company, Energy Insider, for this project. As a government-funded organisation committed to enhancing educational content on the energy industry and related job roles, Energy Insider focuses on making information both exciting and compelling to attract a diverse talent pool for the evolving energy transition.
Having recently completed filming, Energy Insider has now unveiled the series on a pioneering app-style platform, reminiscent of popular streaming services like Netflix, providing recruiters and educational outlets access to a curated selection of business case studies.
Commenting on the platform, Energy Insider’s Founder, Murray Duguid, said, “improving and modernising the way we teach our job opportunities will be vital for attracting young talent going forward. These case studies serve to illuminate various aspects of the energy industry, contributing to a more informed and engaged workforce.”
