Championing Future Talent: Nexos Sponsors Tullos Training Ceremony
Tullos Training Annual Awards Ceremony 2025
On 25th June at The Aberdeen Altens Hotel, Tullos Training proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of their trainees at the 2025 Annual Awards Ceremony.
The event was attended by over 150 learners, employers and guests in a powerful celebration of vocational excellence and workforce development.
Speaking at the event, Stuart McKenna, CEO of Scottish Training Federation Limited, said “Modern Apprenticeships are quite simply a great thing to achieve, they give people the opportunity to build their confidence, gain industry experience and develop essential skills that employers require.”
Nexos proudly supported this year’s ceremony by sponsoring the Best Fabrication/Welding Apprentice category an award that recognises technical excellence, dedication, and the bright potential of the next generation of skilled professionals.
Fabrication and welding are at the core of many of our operations, whether it's supporting modular builds, offshore upgrades, or onshore energy facilities. As an organisation committed to long-term capability and quality, investing in early careers is not just a value, it’s a strategic priority.
Graeme Gray, Operations Director - Fabrication - at nexos, shared: “The future of our industry relies on the strength of our emerging workforce. It was a real privilege to sponsor this award and recognise the outstanding talent coming through. The skills on display are a testament to the training and commitment that institutions like Tullos provide and we’re proud to play a part in that journey.”
“We’re also looking forward to welcoming a further three fabrication and welding apprentices to join our growing cohort here at nexos. It’s a clear signal of our commitment to developing homegrown talent and ensuring we have the right skills for the future.”
Congratulations to this year’s winner and all the apprentices who were nominated. Your passion and perseverance are exactly what our industry needs.
A big thank you to everyone at Tullos Training and to the nexos team members who represented us at the event. Let’s keep building futures, one skilled hand at a time.
