Keith Greener Grid Park

Background

Nexos successfully completed the design, installation, and commissioning of an effective cooling solution for the Keith Greener Grid Park, supporting Power Systems on behalf of Statkraft.

The £20 million project utilizes two rotating stabilizers, built by GE Power Conversion, to simulate the spinning turbines of a traditional power station, thereby enhancing grid stability. This cutting-edge technology reduces reliance on fossil fuels used by conventional power stations and increases the capacity for renewable energy to be delivered to the national grid.

Nexos was tasked with designing, installing and commissioning a cooling system to maintain the critical equipment at optimal temperatures. Our solution involved installing and commissioning four FlaktGroup Multi-DENCO systems, equipped with the latest advanced controls. This solution has proven to be both reliable and efficient, delivering excellent performance for the client.
