Nexos Appoints Shami Mahindru as Chief Commercial Officer to Drive Strategic Growth

Nexos strengthens leadership team

Nexos, a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across the UK energy market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shami Mahindru as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective immediately.

With over two decades of experience in commercial and project leadership roles, Shami brings a wealth of expertise spanning global energy services, EPC delivery, and asset management. He joins nexos with a proven track record in driving commercial performance, building high-impact partnerships, and delivering strategic growth across both traditional and emerging energy markets.

Shami’s career includes senior leadership positions at AMEC, Worley, Scottish Power Renewables, BP and TotalEnergies, where he successfully led complex, high-value energy infrastructure projects across Europe and internationally.

As CCO, Shami will lead the company’s global commercial strategy, focused on strengthening customer relationships, enhancing commercial value, and unlocking new opportunities for growth in both mature and emerging markets.

As part of the D2Zero group, nexos is building on its strong foundation as one of the UK’s leading offshore EPC contractors - supporting clients including Apache, CNRi, Ithaca Energy and EnQuest - to apply its integrated delivery model and offshore-grade expertise into high-growth onshore markets. These include hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, renewables, waste-to-energy and synthetic fuels.

Commenting on the appointment, Scott McGinigal, Chief Executive Officer of nexos, said:

“Shami brings an exceptional blend of commercial acumen and industry insight. His leadership will be instrumental in building high-impact partnerships, and delivering strategic growth across both traditional and emerging energy markets”

Shami Mahindru added: “I’m excited to be joining nexos at such a pivotal moment for the business. The company has a compelling vision, a highly capable team, and a strong foundation to scale its impact across the energy sector. I look forward to building on that momentum and working closely with our partners and clients to deliver meaningful, sustainable value.”

Shami’s appointment further strengthens the nexos leadership team as the company accelerates its strategic growth journey, building on its reputation for delivery excellence across offshore and onshore energy markets.
